Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and creating customized care strategies.
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions, working alongside physicians or independently as per your credentials.
• Educating patients and their families on health maintenance, wellness initiatives, and disease management strategies.
• Prescribing medications and treatments within your professional scope.

• Accurately documenting all patient care details in electronic medical records (EMR).

Education and Credentials Required

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

Necessary Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Oregon.
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure them within 90 days).
