ASCP Medical Lab Technician - MT / MLT

MLR is collaborating with a respected healthcare system in Oklahoma to fill a full-time position for a Clinical Lab Scientist/Medical Technologist. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team providing exceptional laboratory services to both inpatient and outpatient clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Laboratory Testing: Perform a range of basic and advanced tests, including waived, moderate, and high-complexity testing for patients of all ages.
• Equipment Management: Calibrate, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments, ensuring quality control and resolving technical issues as they arise.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records for all procedures and tests conducted.
• Safety Compliance: Follow infection control and safety protocols within the laboratory environment.
• Inventory Management: Oversee lab supplies, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Communication: Address inquiries regarding test results, methodologies, and interpretations.
• Charge Tech Duties: Assume "Charge Tech" responsibilities as needed, supervising lab operations during shifts.

ASCP Medical Lab Technician - MT / MLT Qualifications:

• Board certification in Laboratory Science from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) is required.
