Summary:

We are currently seeking a Lead Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Laboratory Technologist to work full-time at a trending facility Southwest of Wichita, Kansas.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results through the implementation and monitoring of quality control measures.
• Perform complex laboratory tests and analyses as needed.
• Stay current with advancements in medical technology, laboratory techniques and implements best practices.
• Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
• Keep the team informed about new procedures, protocols, and technologies.
• Create and implement a schedule for the medical technologists and MLTs in the lab.
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience required as a medical technologist.
• One-year supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems and data management.
