Job Description:

The Director of Acute and Emergency Services will report to the Chief Nursing Officer and work closely with staff to coordinate and oversee continuing education and in-service training and will review policies and procedures to ensure best practices in patient safety and performance improvement.

The Director of Acute and Emergency Services will be responsible for supervising the department, treating any immediate medical or surgical emergencies, and providing other chronic medical problems, minor injuries, or illnesses.


Qualifications:

  • Must be an RN, with a current and valid Ohio license.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required, Masters, preferred
  • Two to four years of supervisory experience, preferred
  • Emergency department nursing experience, preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office products
