The Work Few See—But Many Depend On
A Respiratory Therapy Career Built on Precision, Presence, and the Quiet Courage of Showing Up

Not every hero walks through the front door. Some arrive through side entrances. Some slip into a patient’s room when things have gone silent, carrying nothing more than a stethoscope, a chart, and a deep, steady calm.

If you’re a Respiratory Therapist, you know what it means to be trusted in those moments. You know the power of a well-placed hand, the reassurance of a calmly delivered breath, the difference it makes when someone with clinical clarity and compassion steps in without hesitation.

This is your moment to do that work in a setting that honors it. A full-time opportunity in our Respiratory Care Services department where every patient, every teammate, and every family member knows that your role is essential—because they feel the difference you make, every single day.

A Role Where Trust Meets Expertise

Here, your skills will never be overlooked. They’ll be leaned on. You’ll provide direct respiratory care across the lifespan—from newborns to older adults—serving patients with a wide range of needs, acuity levels, and diagnoses.

You’ll manage oxygen therapies, perform arterial blood gas draws, set up and monitor ventilators, and step confidently into airway emergencies. You’ll collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other respiratory professionals to deliver seamless, high-quality care. Whether helping a premature infant breathe independently for the first time or teaching a family how to support a loved one’s recovery at home, you’ll be deeply involved in care that matters.

Your knowledge won’t just be respected—it will be relied on. From documentation and equipment safety to patient education and interdisciplinary rounds, your presence will be the thread that ties respiratory therapy into the broader continuum of care.

The Region That Feels Like Coming Home

Step outside and take a breath yourself. Here in rural central Ohio, you’re surrounded by something more than scenery—you’re surrounded by simplicity, space, and the kind of stillness that restores.

It’s not just where you work—it’s where you build your life. Historic small towns hum with local coffee shops, bookstores, and festivals. Forest trails stretch across the countryside, and rivers wind through farmland like veins of calm. People here look out for each other. Life here moves with intention.

After a meaningful day of work, you can trade scrubs for hiking boots, a quiet evening on the porch, or time with your family that doesn’t get lost to traffic or city noise. And if you want access to arts, food, or weekend getaways, Columbus is only a short drive away—just far enough to keep the stars visible at night.

Who We’re Looking For

You’re someone who blends clinical rigor with human warmth. You don’t just adjust settings—you pay attention. You don’t just treat symptoms—you advocate. And you know that respiratory care isn’t just about getting air into lungs—it’s about giving people back the strength to keep going.

You’ve graduated from an AMA-approved school of respiratory therapy and hold current licensure with the Ohio Respiratory Care Board. You’re certified by the NBRC, either as a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist, and your BLS is active and up to date. You’ve also completed Neonatal Resuscitation certification and bring with you the confidence to work independently, the humility to work as a team, and the courage to show up no matter the challenge.

Whether you bring years of experience or a readiness to grow, what matters most is your mindset: thoughtful, reliable, committed, and kind.

What We Offer In Return

We know that respiratory therapy is demanding work—and we believe it should be honored, supported, and celebrated accordingly.

We’re offering a $20,000 sign-on bonus with a two-year commitment, alongside a full-time schedule that’s designed to support both clinical excellence and work-life balance. You’ll join a team that values professionalism, compassion, and collaboration—and that works together not just in crisis, but in the quiet hours, too.

You’ll also receive a full package of benefits: health, dental, and vision coverage; paid time off that’s actually respected; a retirement plan with employer match; tuition reimbursement and continuing education support; and a workplace culture that respects your autonomy, encourages your input, and trusts you to do what you do best.

The Work You Were Made For

There are jobs that get attention. And there are jobs that change lives quietly, one breath at a time.

If you’re ready to do the kind of work that matters—deeply, consistently, and with a team that sees your value—then this may be your next right step. Come be the person patients don’t always remember, but never forget. Come bring air, calm, and care into the moments that count.

Apply today. Let’s breathe life into this work, together.
