Your Contributions – What You Will Do

• Conduct routine to advanced clinical lab tests encompassing chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more, all while adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, rectify errors, and oversee preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Diligently document all processes, mentor new staff and students, while helping maintain quality standards within the laboratory.
• Ensure the laboratory work environment is clean and safe, complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain your certification throughout the duration of employment.
