Lab Department Overview:

MLT/MT/MLS Responsibilities:
- Perform complex lab procedures across various areas, including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood bank.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate test results.
- Analyze and interpret data while adhering to strict quality control standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Participate in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
Medical Laboratory Technician / Scientist Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) through ASCP or equivalent.
- Familiarity with lab information systems (LIS) like Epic Beaker and SoftBank is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
