MLee Healthcare has been engaged by a client to recruit a Surgical Technologist for their growing team in Ohio.

Requirements:

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist from an accredited program.

• Current CPR certification.

• Excellent knowledge of surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile techniques.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the surgical team.

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.

• Commitment to patient safety and providing high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are sterilized and ready for use.

• Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures by passing instruments, sponges, and sutures.

• Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgical procedure to minimize the risk of infection.

• Monitor and anticipate the needs of the surgical team to ensure a smooth workflow.

• Handle specimens carefully and accurately label and transport them to the laboratory.

• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

• Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized surgical environment.

• Stay up-to-date with advancements in surgical technology and techniques.
