Athletic Trainer
Full Time / Competitive Pay / $20k Sign-On Bonus / Relocation Assistance
As a vital member of the sports medicine team, the Athletic Trainer (AT) will provide on-site coverage for athletic events at schools and community locations. Under physician supervision, you will offer a wide range of services, including injury prevention, clinical evaluation, diagnosis, immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning.
Athletic Trainer Educational Requirements:
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Degree Type: Bachelor of Science (or equivalent)
- Field of Study: Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or related field
Athletic Trainer Licensure/Certifications:
- Active Athletic Training license in the State of Ohio
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification
- National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification
Athletic Trainer Key Responsibilities:
- On-Site Coverage: Attend designated schools and community events to provide athletic training support.
- Patient Care: Offer a full range of services, from injury prevention and diagnosis to rehabilitation and reconditioning.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records in line with Premier Health standards.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing education and stay current on industry practices.
- Public Engagement: Participate in public speaking events to promote sports medicine awareness.
- Cost Management: Help with cost-effective strategies within the sports medicine department.
- Customer Service: Provide top-notch service to athletes and stakeholders.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow sports medicine professionals to optimize care and outcomes.
Athletic Trainer Experience:
- Required: No prior experience required; recent graduates are encouraged to apply!
