Cancer Center RN – Day Shift

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Cancer Center RN to join our team. As a Cancer Center RN, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients undergoing cancer treatment.

- Graduation from an accredited program for nursing education
- BSN preferred
- Current licensure to practice professional nursing in the State of Ohio
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certification required
- Previous work experience in a patient setting preferred
- 3-5 years of medical, surgical, or critical care experience required
- Oncology experience preferred

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and self-care techniques
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
