Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Current nursing licensure in the State of Ohio.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of patient care experience in medical, surgical, or critical care settings.
- Oncology experience is highly desirable.
Responsibilities: As a Cancer Center RN, you will:
- Deliver direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and self-care techniques.
- Monitor patients' conditions and promptly report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to hospital policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
