Cancer Center RN – Day Shift

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• BSN preferred
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Ohio
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certification required
• Previous patient care experience preferred
• 3-5 years of medical, surgical, or critical care experience required
• Oncology experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and self-care techniques
• Monitor patients' conditions and report changes to healthcare team
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to hospital policies
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives for enhanced patient outcomes
