Respiratory Therapist – Full Time

Shift: Only Night Shift Opportunities Available

We seek a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our patient-focused respiratory care team in Middletown, Ohio. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative hospital setting, delivering high-quality care to patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions.

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in the treatment and recovery of patients across various departments, including emergency, critical care, and general inpatient units. You'll work closely with physicians, nurses, and fellow therapists to administer therapies, manage ventilators, and support patients through all stages of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapeutic respiratory treatments, including oxygen therapy, nebulizations, and chest physiotherapy
• Manage and monitor mechanical ventilation and airway management
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling and analysis
• Assist with emergency resuscitation efforts (Code Blue/trauma response)
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment
• Document all care provided by hospital and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Active Ohio Respiratory Care Professional license (or eligible)
• RRT or CRT credential through NBRC
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Prior clinical experience in a hospital setting is preferred
