Patient Companion (part-time) in the Medina, OH area.

What the work involves:

• 7:00am-7:30pm/7:00pm-7:30am
• A PRN caregiver in this position works varying shifts from 7:00AM – 7:30PM or 7: 0 0PM – 7:30AM. Working 48 hours per 6-week period is required .
• A caregiver who excels in this role will:
• Assist with direct and indirect patient care for one to two patients, such as rooming, vital signs, weight and pulse oximetry. If assigned to a closed unit, you will observe three to four patients.
• Assure patient safety by ensuring that catheters, tubes or other medical equipment have not been removed or disconnected.
• Accompany and assist patients at all times, including during transport, tests, transfers and ambulation.
