Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of the Birthing Center to lead our team in providing exceptional care to expectant mothers and families. This is a leadership position that will involve overseeing the operations of our Birthing Center, ensuring high standards of care, and fostering a compassionate and collaborative environment. As the Director, you will play a key role in shaping the direction and quality of maternal and neonatal care within our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Birthing Center, including staff management, patient care, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure safe and high-quality care for mothers and newborns.
• Lead and mentor a team of nurses, midwives, physicians, and support staff.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and satisfaction.
• Manage the budget and resource allocation for the Birthing Center.
• Promote a patient-centered culture and ensure an exceptional experience for families.
• Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
• Stay current with trends in maternal health and make recommendations for enhancements to services.
• Build and maintain relationships with community partners, healthcare organizations, and educational institutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (master's preferred).
• Current RN license in Ohio.
• At least 5 years of experience in a clinical setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role in a maternity or birthing center.
• Strong understanding of maternal and newborn care, safety standards, and healthcare regulations.
• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• A passion for providing high-quality care to mothers and babies.
