Interventional Radiology - Special Procedures Technologist
IR Technologist Responsibilities:
The Interventional Radiology (IR) technologist independently performs procedures using proper techniques and contrast media. They coordinate patient flow, maintain equipment, and may work in other imaging modalities as needed. On-call responsibilities may apply.
CT Technologist Requirements:
- ARRT (R) Required
- ACLS Preferred
- Vascular-Interventional Radiology (VI) Preferred
- Previous experience as progressive radiologic technologist
- Ability to work in a high-tempo large hospital system.
