Director of Nursing - Medical Surgical Job Summary
The Director of Nursing is responsible for the day-to-day operational oversight for the medical/surgical patient, stepdown & intensive care neuro patient, dialysis, and Bariatric Program. She/he works closely with the Chief Nursing Officer in developing and maintaining standards of productivity, standards of care, scope of service, and policy for areas of responsibility. She/he is responsible for implementation of nursing process and maintenance of the values and philosophy which promote/direct quality patient care as overseen by the Chief Nursing Officer.

Director of Nursing Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
- Master's in Nursing, Hospital Administration or Business Administration preferred.
- Valid Ohio RN licensure
- BLS, ACLS certifications
Experience
- Minimum Level of Experience Required: 3 - 5 years of job related experience
- Prior job title or occupational experience: Minimum 3 years progressive hospital nursing leadership required
