Accountant – Full-Time (Hospital-Based, On-Site)

MLR Healthcare is partnering with a community hospital near Sunbury, Ohio, to hire a dedicated Accountant for a full-time, on-site role. Hospital Accountant Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 40 hours per week, no weekends or holidays!

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and organize financial transactions and accounting records.
• Generate accurate and timely financial reports.
• Provide budgetary assistance and financial reports to Directors.
• Ensure timely completion of all reporting requirements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare, verify, allocate, and post journal entries.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and maintain accuracy.
• Prepare and present financial reports as requested.
• Analyze financial data as needed.
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Adapt to different financial and reporting software systems.
