Position Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required.
  • Hold a current Ohio nursing license.
  • CPR certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
  • At least one year of experience in medical, surgical, or critical care settings preferred.
  • Oncology experience is a plus, though not mandatory.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician directives.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for oncology patients.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home care strategies to enhance recovery.
  • Closely monitor patient conditions, promptly reporting any significant changes to the healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, adhering to hospital policies and standards.
  • Take part in quality improvement efforts aimed at achieving optimal patient outcomes.
