We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team in Ohio. In this role, you will work with patients of all ages to help them develop, recover, and maintain the skills needed for daily living and working. You will assess patient needs, create personalized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, independence, and quality of life. Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients’ physical, emotional, and social needs to create personalized treatment plans.
  • Design and implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' fine motor skills, mobility, and daily activities.
  • Work with individuals recovering from injury, illness, surgery, or disability to restore functional independence.
  • Teach patients how to perform daily tasks such as dressing, cooking, and personal hygiene with adaptive equipment or techniques.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide reports to the care team.
  • Educate patients and families about home exercises, adaptive techniques, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, ensuring all treatments and documentation are accurate and timely.
  • Participate in professional development activities and stay updated on best practices in occupational therapy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Ohio.
  • Strong clinical knowledge of occupational therapy techniques, modalities, and patient care.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused, and dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
