MLR is seeking a compassionate and skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our fast-paced, dedicated team. Emergency Department RN Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program for nursing education, BSN preferred.
- Current licensure to practice professional nursing in the State of Ohio.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certification required.
- Certification in specialty is preferred; other as noted below for specific units as indicated within 1 year of hire: ACLS and PALS required
Emergency Department RN Benefits
- Self-insured organization holding annual deductibles as low as $250 (single) and $500 (family). Once these yearly deductibles are met, all services are covered at 100%! Our client also has great retirement/pension benefits. If you put in 3% of your wages after a year of service and 1000 hours worked, you’d be eligible for an additional 3% and match 1.5% of your contributions for a total of 7.5%.

Emergency Department RN Job Summary
- Delivers direct/indirect patient care to patients of all ages from neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult to geriatric utilizing the nursing process through data collection and assessment; implementation and prioritization of patient’s problems and needs; and development & implementation of a nursing plan of care in the Emergency Department. Demonstrates critical thinking to assure the delivery of safe, quality, age specific care. Delegates effectively to appropriate team members. Documents accurately and in a timely manner. Communicates and collaborates with other healthcare team members. Adheres to organizational policies and procedures; regulatory accrediting body requirements
