CT Technologist
Position Overview:
As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging. Your duties include operating CT equipment, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver accurate, timely results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
- Position patients properly for imaging and provide clear instructions.
- Administer contrast materials when necessary and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment and imaging software to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure top-quality imaging outcomes.
- Document patient information and imaging procedures accurately in compliance with healthcare standards.
Qualifications:
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification, with CT certification preferred.
- Valid state licensure in Radiologic Technology.
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
