Be the Steady Breath When It Matters Most
A Respiratory Therapy Role That Honors Your Skill, Your Compassion, and Your Calling
There’s something powerful about the quiet moments—the ones where tension softens, a monitor steadies, and breath returns to a body that had been struggling. In these moments, you’re not just adjusting oxygen flow or monitoring ventilator settings. You’re holding space for life itself.
As a Respiratory Therapist in our Respiratory Care Services department, you’ll step into that quiet power every day—playing a critical role in the moments that matter most. From emergency intubation and complex ventilator management to teaching families how to support recovery at home, your work will bridge the gap between crisis and comfort, urgency and stability.
This is a position for someone who thrives under pressure but leads with empathy. Who’s as skilled with a stethoscope as they are with words of calm. And who understands that in the very act of helping someone breathe, you’re offering far more than a therapy—you’re offering reassurance, dignity, and often, hope.
What It Means to Lead With Purpose
In this role, your knowledge isn’t just respected—it’s counted on. You’ll assess patients across the age spectrum, from newborns to older adults, providing everything from routine therapy treatments to critical interventions. You’ll manage airways, monitor oxygen delivery systems, and perform arterial blood gas draws with steady hands and clinical precision.
But your impact goes beyond the bedside. You’ll be a partner to physicians, nurses, and fellow respiratory therapists, helping create care plans that are clear, evidence-based, and responsive to every patient’s unique situation. Whether setting up mechanical ventilation in the ICU, coaching a patient through their first breath post-extubation, or guiding a worried parent through home care education, your expertise will be at the heart of everything we do.
Documentation, equipment checks, safety protocols—yes, they’re part of the job. But here, the heartbeat of the work is people. Human moments. And your ability to meet each one with both skill and compassion.
A Community That Breathes With You
Step outside the hospital and the landscape shifts—but the calm remains. You’re in the heart of rural central Ohio, where the roads are open, the air is fresh, and the sense of community is genuine. This is a place where people still wave as they pass you, where families gather for seasonal festivals, and where small-town pride runs deep.
On your days off, you’ll have the time—and space—to unwind. Maybe it’s fishing in a quiet creek, biking a tree-lined trail, or exploring local antique shops and coffee houses. Maybe it’s heading home to your own quiet porch to watch the sunset, knowing that the work you do during your shifts has truly made a difference.
This is a region that doesn’t rush you. It invites you to breathe. And to belong.
What You Bring to the Role
We’re looking for someone who brings more than credentials—they bring calm in the storm, clarity in complexity, and presence in every interaction.
You’ve graduated from an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy and are NBRC certified—either as a Certified Respiratory Technician or a Registered Respiratory Therapist. You hold current licensure with the Ohio Respiratory Care Board, and you’re BLS certified. You’ve completed Neonatal Resuscitation training, and you bring with you a readiness to jump into any age or acuity level with confidence and care.
You may have years of experience, or you may be earlier in your journey—but you have a commitment to doing things right. To keeping equipment safe and functional, to charting with accuracy, to handling emergencies with steady skill, and to meeting every patient with empathy, no matter the hour or the condition.
What defines you isn’t just your technical knowledge—it’s the way you show up for others, with humility, heart, and the willingness to do the work well, no matter how challenging.
What We Give in Return
We believe your time, talent, and compassion deserve to be supported in full.
That’s why we’re offering a $20,000 sign-on bonus with a two-year agreement, along with a full-time schedule that honors both your focus and your recovery. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that communicates openly, values expertise, and supports one another like family.
You’ll also receive comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, a retirement plan with employer match, tuition reimbursement, and access to continuing education and in-house growth opportunities. But just as importantly, you’ll be respected—for your work ethic, your ideas, and the moments of grace you offer patients when they need them most.
Your Calm Can Change Everything
In respiratory care, your actions are often invisible to the outside world—but essential to the ones who are fighting to stay upright, to recover, to live. If you’re ready to bring your skills to a place where they’ll be trusted—and your presence to a place where it will truly matter—we’d love to welcome you.
Apply today. Be the breath between fear and healing. Be the reason someone makes it through.
