Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Director of the Birthing Center to lead our team in delivering outstanding care to expectant mothers and their families. This leadership role will involve overseeing the daily operations of the Birthing Center, ensuring the highest standards of care, and fostering a nurturing, team-oriented environment. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily operations of the Birthing Center, including staff management, patient care, and adherence to healthcare regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure safe, high-quality care for mothers and newborns.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of nurses, midwives, physicians, and other staff members.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth, coordinated patient care and enhance family satisfaction.
  • Manage the Birthing Center’s budget and resource distribution.
  • Foster a patient-centered culture, ensuring an exceptional experience for families.
  • Track and analyze patient outcomes, identify improvement opportunities, and integrate best practices.
  • Stay informed on advancements in maternal health and recommend improvements to services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, healthcare organizations, and educational institutions.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

-Active RN license in Ohio.

-Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role in a maternity or birthing center.
