Position Overview

• Conduct various ultrasound exams such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort, explaining each procedure with empathy and clarity
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Keep thorough records and document procedures accurately in the electronic medical system
• Maintain knowledge of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Needed

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
