Seeking an experienced and dynamic RN Supervisor to lead our Hospital Emergency Department. In this multifaceted role, you will oversee daily operations, promote nursing excellence, and ensure optimal patient care. Collaborate with the Nurse Manager, physicians, and hospital administration to deliver efficient and high-quality emergency services.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee department activities, ensuring professionalism and excellence in nursing practice.
  • Coordinate closely with physicians, hospital administration, and other departments to prepare for patient arrivals and timely disposition.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve operational and strategic objectives.
  • Develop and support a highly skilled team while optimizing resource utilization.
  • Maintain compliance with licensing, regulatory standards, and institutional policies.
  • Provide direct patient care in alignment with the staff nurse role.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License.
  • CPR, ACLS, and TNCC certifications (ACLS at time of hire, TNCC within 1 year of hire).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of ED nursing experience, with management experience preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated clinical competence and ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Leadership abilities to inspire and guide individuals and teams.
  • Proficiency in computer spreadsheets and word processing.
