MLR Healthcare is looking for a dedicated and certified athletic trainer to join our team in Ohio. The ideal candidate will prioritize the safety and well-being of athletes, providing exceptional care. This role includes on-site athletic training coverage at designated schools and community events, with a focus on injury prevention, assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Educational Requirements:

• Minimum Level: Bachelor’s degree
• Degree Type: Bachelor of Science or equivalent
• Major/Area of Study: Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or a related field
• Preferred Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience

Licensure/Certifications:

• Current Athletic Training license in Ohio
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification
• National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site athletic training at assigned schools and community events as needed.
• Deliver injury prevention, clinical evaluation, diagnosis, immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation following Premier Health standards.
• Engage in continuing education to stay updated on industry trends.
• Participate in public speaking events to promote awareness and education in sports medicine.
• Contribute to cost management initiatives within the sports medicine department.
• Provide excellent customer service to athletes and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other sports medicine team members to enhance overall effectiveness.
