Position Overview

We are in search of a talented and empathetic Ultrasound / Sonography Technologist who is ready to make a significant impact as a vital part of our dedicated imaging team. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct an array of ultrasound examinations, which may include abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, articulating each step of the process with clarity and empathy.
• Work alongside radiologists and referring physicians to facilitate the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images.
• Manage and upkeep imaging equipment, addressing issues in a timely fashion.
• Methodically document procedures and maintain patient records within the electronic medical system.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices for optimal patient outcomes.

Education Requirements

• Must possess an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred.

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
