Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT)

One of our clients in the region has engaged us to recruit a Respiratory Therapist for their growing team.

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be crucial in providing specialized respiratory care to patients with respiratory disorders. You will work closely with the medical team to assess, treat, and monitor patients with various respiratory conditions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, possess strong clinical skills, and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in respiratory therapy.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of patients with respiratory disorders to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies by following established protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate patient response to respiratory interventions and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Perform diagnostic tests, such as pulmonary function tests, arterial blood gas analysis, and chest physiotherapy.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• CPR certification.
• Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to respiratory therapy.

Experience:

• Minimum of one year of experience working as a Respiratory Therapist in a healthcare setting.
