Home Health Occupational Therapist Summary:
MLR is seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Health Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide in-home therapy services, helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life. You’ll work closely with patients and their families to design and implement personalized therapy plans that address physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges. Home Health Occupational Therapist Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Evaluation: Conduct in-home assessments to evaluate the patient’s physical, cognitive, and emotional capabilities, and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Treatment Planning & Execution: Create and implement therapy programs to improve mobility, fine motor skills, self-care activities, and overall function in daily living.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and techniques to support recovery and independence at home.
- Collaboration: Work with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care for patients.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with home health regulations.

Home Health Occupational Therapist Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Certification: Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR).
- Experience: Previous experience in home health or outpatient therapy preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong time management, and ability to work independently in patients' homes.
