ARDMS / CCI Registered - Echo Tech

Position: Diagnostic Cardiac Echocardiologist

Responsibilities:

Independently performs diagnostic cardiac echocardiography procedures, ensuring adherence to proper techniques and protocols. Coordinates patient flow, maintains equipment, and may conduct other cardiology procedures as needed. On-call duties may apply.

Essential Duties:

1. Conducts high-quality echocardiography procedures based on physician orders.
2. Gathers clinical history and performs necessary Quality Control (QC).
3. Coordinates patient care and provides thorough education about procedures.
4. Ensures accurate record-keeping and adherence to safety protocols.

Other Duties:

May undertake additional responsibilities as required to meet patient, departmental, or organizational needs.

Requirements:

• Associates degree required (Allied Health)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer credentialed by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or by the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonography (ARDMS)
• CPR Certification required
