The Ones Who Steady the Breath and Calm the Room
A Respiratory Therapy Role for Those Who Lead with Skill, Stillness, and an Unshakable Sense of Purpose

Not all leadership is loud. Some of it arrives quietly, in the early hours of a critical moment. In the way you move quickly but with intention. In how you adjust the vent, assess the airway, and offer calm when everyone else is holding their breath.

If you’re a Respiratory Therapist, you know the kind of leadership we mean. You don’t need a spotlight. You don’t need applause. What you need is the work—the kind that matters deeply, demands expertise, and reminds you, over and over again, why you chose this path in the first place.

In our hospital, your presence doesn’t go unnoticed. It’s felt. It’s respected. And it’s vital.

The Role You Were Meant to Fill

As part of our Respiratory Care Services team, you’ll become a trusted provider in some of the most sensitive, critical, and intimate moments in a patient’s care journey. Your scope will be broad—your days unpredictable in the best possible way. One moment, you’ll be monitoring blood gases and adjusting a ventilator. The next, you’ll be teaching a family how to support their loved one’s recovery at home. You’ll respond to codes, collaborate across units, and serve as both technician and teacher.

This role calls for deep clinical knowledge, yes—but also for presence. For emotional steadiness. For the kind of perceptiveness that knows when to explain and when to listen. When to intervene, and when to simply hold space.

Whether treating a newborn, an injured teen, or an aging adult, you’ll bring the same measured care to each case. Because for you, it’s not just about restoring breath. It’s about restoring peace.

A Landscape for Work—and for Life

And when you step outside the hospital, the peace continues. In this stretch of central Ohio, the rhythm slows. The roads open up. The sky feels bigger.

You’ll find yourself in a region full of quiet magic. Historic towns where family-run shops still thrive. Forest trails and winding rivers that call to you after a long day. Neighborhoods where people still know one another. And just enough distance from the city to give you space without losing access.

You’ll have time for the things that matter—family dinners, morning walks, weekend road trips, or simply sitting on your porch as the seasons change. Here, your life outside of work isn’t an afterthought. It’s part of the equation.

What You Bring

You’ve completed your training through an AMA-accredited school of respiratory therapy and earned certification through the NBRC. Whether you’re a Registered Respiratory Therapist or a Certified Respiratory Technician, you’re licensed to practice in Ohio and hold a current BLS certification. You’ve completed Neonatal Resuscitation certification and bring a clinical readiness to care for patients across the lifespan.

You’ve worked in environments where rapid response matters, and you understand how to keep equipment, documentation, and communication running with equal precision. Maybe you’ve been doing this work for years. Maybe you’re earlier in your career but bring a steadiness that belies your experience.

What’s most important to us is your commitment—to showing up, to staying calm, to staying curious. You take ownership of your practice, and you treat patients not as problems to solve, but as people to serve.

What We Give in Return

We believe deeply in valuing those who carry this kind of responsibility. That’s why we’re offering a $20,000 sign-on bonus tied to a two-year agreement—a gesture that says, “We see you. We trust you. We want you here.”

You’ll join a full-time team that functions like family: collaborative, supportive, and consistently dependable. You’ll also have access to full benefits—health, dental, and vision coverage; paid time off; employer-matched retirement; tuition reimbursement; and continuing education support.

But beyond the compensation, you’ll find something more rare: a place where your work is seen, your strengths are trusted, and your calm makes all the difference.

Make This Work Yours

If you’re ready for a respiratory therapy career that brings together skill, purpose, and place—if you want to be part of a team that understands how critical your role is, and how quietly heroic your contributions are—we’d love to welcome you.
