CT Technologist
Position Overview:
As a CT Technologist, you will play an essential role in providing accurate and timely diagnostic imaging. Your responsibilities will include operating CT equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality imaging results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans based on physician orders, prioritizing patient comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Position patients properly and prepare them for scans.
- Administer contrast materials as needed and monitor for any adverse reactions.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment and imaging software to ensure optimal functionality.
- Work closely with radiologists and medical staff to ensure the production of high-quality images.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient information and imaging procedures.
Qualifications:
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with CT certification preferred.
- Valid state licensure in Radiologic Technology.
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques and protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both patients and medical staff.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
