Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-Time

MLee Healthcare is seeking a OR Registered Nurse (RN) in New York to play a critical role in delivering patient-centered care, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice.

Registered Nurse Details:
Pay Range: $110,000 - $145,100 / year
Day shift; 7AM - 3PM M-F & 3 x 12 available
 

Key Responsibilities for a Registered Nurse:

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with established policies and protocols.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and responses to interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Advocate for patients' rights and ensure that ethical and legal standards of care are maintained.
• Act as a liaison between patients and their families, addressing concerns and providing emotional support.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care practices.
• Provide counseling and emotional support to patients and families..

Registered Nurse Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current New York State RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications may be required based on specialty and employer preferences.
• Clinical experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but may vary based on the specific role.
