Clinical Pharmacist
Pay Range: $125,000 - $190,000
Schedule: M-F 8AM - 4PM
Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret prescription orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication therapy.
- Dispense prescribed medications while advising patients on proper usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy for patients.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies and procedures.
- Oversee and mentor Pharmacy Technicians and support staff.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medication histories and interactions.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a PharmaD degree
- Licensed as a Pharmacist in the State of New York
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a hospital setting
