ARRT - CT Technologist
Schedule: Multiple Shifts Available
MLR is seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join a highly respected healthcare team in Vermont. In this full-time role, you’ll perform routine radiographic examinations, contributing vital support to the diagnostic process while delivering top-quality imaging and exceptional patient care.
Willing to train the right candidate for CT.*
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans and other specialized imaging procedures as prescribed by physicians and protocols.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns.
- Position patients correctly and utilize appropriate radiation protection measures to minimize exposure.
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring functionality and adherence to safety standards.
- Evaluate CT images for quality, clarity, and accuracy, documenting findings and ensuring timely reporting.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists and healthcare team members to review images and assist in patient diagnosis.
- Maintain accurate patient records and uphold confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Adhere to regulatory standards, quality assurance protocols, and departmental policies.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- ARRT (R) board certification OR eligibility to sit for ARRT (CT) or board certification required.
- Previous direct clinical radiology experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
- ARRT (CT) registered within 2 years of employment required.
- Valid Vermont State Office of Professional Regulation Radiography license required.
- BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire.
