Job Description: MLee Healthcare is seeking an experienced MRI-CT Manager to oversee a dynamic group of MRI and CT departments in Northern New York State. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and imaging technology, along with proven leadership and managerial skills. As the MRI-CT Manager, you will be responsible for supervising imaging staff, managing department operations, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of the MRI and CT departments, including scheduling, staff supervision, and workflow optimization.
  • Ensure the effective performance of MRI and CT equipment through routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Monitor and analyze departmental performance metrics, implementing strategies for improvement as needed.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and accurate diagnostic imaging.
  • Train and mentor imaging staff, conducting performance evaluations and facilitating professional development opportunities.
  • Handle patient concerns and feedback, striving to enhance patient satisfaction and address issues promptly.
  • Oversee inventory management and ordering of imaging supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Radiography.
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Medical Imaging, or a related field is nice to have.
  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI and/or CT.
  • Eligibility to obtain State of New York Department of Health Radiologic Technologist certification.
  • At least one year of supervisory experience in a hospital radiology setting.

Qualified candidates should also have experience with the following: 

  • MR and/or CT equipment.
  • Philips or GE MR and CT scanners.
  • Visage PACS.
  • Epic EMR.
  • Workday HR software.
  • Leadership in a unionized setting.
  • ACR accreditation.
