** MLee Healthcare is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join an established hospital in New York. **
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, including imaging studies and therapeutic treatments, with precision and adherence to established protocols.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment to ensure optimal functionality and image quality.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address any concerns.
- Position patients accurately for imaging, ensuring high-quality diagnostic results.
- Monitor patients during procedures, recognizing and responding to any adverse reactions or changes in condition.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed about advancements in nuclear medicine technology and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in the state of New York.
- ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and delivering compassionate care.
