This position is for a Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse on a 13-week assignment with a community hospital east of Buffalo, NY.

Position Summary
A professional who utilizes the nursing process to assess, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care activities. Collaborate with other Clinical Associates and Healthcare disciplines to meet individual needs using appropriate resources to ensure quality, safe, and cost-effective care. Nurtures a working relationship with physicians, nursing staff and other disciplines involved in the care of the patient/family.

Required Education and Experience

• Current State of New York Registered Nurse Licensure.
• Current BLS certification must be available upon hire or certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment.

Preferred Education and Experience

• At least one year of independent clinical experience
• BSN/ASN prepared
• Any specialty certification
