Surgical Technologist

Where surgical precision meets cultural vibrance in the heart of Queens

In the dynamic, fast-paced neighborhood of Elmhurst, Monsey, where cultures converge and the energy never fades, a tight-knit surgical team is looking for a skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join their ranks. Here, your work doesn’t just support surgeries—it supports a community that depends on compassion, excellence, and care that reflects the diversity of the people we serve.

As a Surgical Technologist, your day starts with preparation. You’re the one who ensures that every surgical instrument is accounted for, that sterile technique is upheld with integrity, and that the OR is fully set for success. Your attention to detail, efficiency, and calm under pressure are vital before the first incision is ever made.

During surgery, you’re fully present—passing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, anticipating the needs of the surgeon, and playing a key role in ensuring every step of the procedure is safe, smooth, and successful. Between cases, you assist with room turnover, equipment sterilization, and get everything reset for the next patient. In this role, precision isn’t optional—it’s everything.

And when your shift ends, Elmhurst offers something rare: a truly global community, rich with culture, food, language, and life. Whether you’re grabbing authentic dumplings from a local food cart, walking through Queens Center Mall, or catching the train to nearby Manhattan, you’re surrounded by a city that never runs out of experiences—and a community that never runs out of heart.

What You’ll Need:

  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Experience in a hospital OR or surgical center is a plus—new grads welcome

What You’ll Do:

  • Set up and maintain a sterile environment for surgeries
  • Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and anticipating needs
  • Follow all protocols for infection prevention and patient safety
  • Support OR turnover between cases and help sterilize instruments
  • Communicate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team

What We Offer:

  • Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and retirement
  • Paid time off and flexible scheduling to support your work-life balance
  • Support for continuing education and certification
  • A fast-paced, supportive environment where your skills are recognized
  • A chance to work in Elmhurst, Queens—a vibrant, multicultural neighborhood in the heart of NYC

If you're looking to grow your career in a setting where diversity, resilience, and surgical excellence all come together, this is your opportunity. Whether you're an experienced tech or just starting out, you'll find a place here where your work truly matters—and your impact is felt every day.

Apply now and bring your skills to a team that’s helping move healthcare forward in Elmhurst, Monsey.
