MLee Healthcare has been engaged by a leading healthcare system in New York that is currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients with medical and traumatic emergencies, working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, and ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Med Surg/Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with established policies and protocols.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to respond effectively to changing patient conditions and emergencies.
• Foster a therapeutic and compassionate environment, ensuring patient and family education and involvement in the care process.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote continuity of care and effective communication.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an RN, 1 year must have been in a relevant practice area (required).
• Previous experience as a charge nurse/leadership role (preferred).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required).
• Current RN license in the state of New York.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
