MLR is looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Medical Technologist for a weekend shift from Friday through Sunday. This full-time role, totaling 72 hours per week, is ideal for those who prefer concentrated workdays with weekdays off. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a commitment to accuracy, and a passion for patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of routine and complex laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, microbiology, chemistry, and blood banking.
• Accurately analyze, interpret, and report test results in a timely manner.
• Ensure the proper operation and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Adhere to established protocols and procedures, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• Current certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP or equivalent).
• NYS License.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and equipment.
