Nuclear Medicine Technologist – NMT

We are currently seeking a qualified and compassionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) to join our imaging and diagnostic care team at our facility located at 8027 Broadway, Elmhurst, NY 10910. This is a full-time opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment where your skills will support accurate diagnosis and excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following all safety, regulatory, and quality control guidelines
• Operate and maintain nuclear imaging equipment (gamma cameras, PET/CT systems)
• Perform nuclear medicine studies including cardiac, bone, renal, and thyroid imaging
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain comprehensive patient records
• Monitor patients during procedures and provide guidance and support throughout
• Uphold radiation safety procedures and participate in quality assurance initiatives
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to support optimal diagnostic outcomes

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
• Certified or eligible for certification through ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB
• BLS certification (required)
• Strong understanding of radiopharmaceuticals, nuclear medicine protocols, and imaging equipment
• Excellent communication skills and patient-focused care approach
• Experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply
