Position Overview: As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in our imaging department by performing high-quality CT scans and ensuring the accuracy and safety of diagnostic procedures. Your expertise and dedication will help us maintain our high standards of patient care and diagnostic accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT imaging equipment to produce detailed and accurate diagnostic images.
- Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Administer contrast agents as required and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
- Review and analyze CT images to ensure they meet diagnostic criteria.
- Maintain and calibrate CT equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and contribute to patient care.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in New York.
- Proven experience in performing CT scans and interpreting imaging results.
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and safety protocols.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
