CT Technologist (Full-time)

PAY: $65,000 - $95,000
SHIFT: All shifts are available (night, days, weekends)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare procedure room and patient for all studies, ensuring all equipment is properly disinfected and all dirty linen is disposed of and replaced after every patient.
- Educate patients regarding ordered procedures, obtain patient history and written consent for exams, and ensure appropriate patient safety screening/consent forms are utilized to address all safety precautions prior to procedures.
- Perform procedures in accordance with established protocols, monitoring patients during procedures and notifying Radiologist of any reactions or problems.
- Ensure quality images for all completed procedures prior to releasing patients by reviewing films or sending images to the PACS System, depending on the type of procedure.
- Carry out duties and assume responsibility for portions of the quality assurance program, as directed by the equipment vendors, and maintain competence with HIS, RIS, PHS, and PACS.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION AND CREDENTIAL:
- Education Associate Degree
- Radiologic Technology
- Credential NY State Certification/License
- Registered Technologist

EXPERIENCE:
- 1 year of Radiology experience, or new grad with completion of accredited CT program Preferred:
- CT Scan experience
- We are open to new grads
