Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule committee and administrative meetings as directed by the Director of Nursing (DON).
- Serve as the communication liaison, keeping the DON informed of daily facility operations in their absence.
- Manage patient communications, including handling complaints and compliments, and directing them to the appropriate staff.
- Assist with staff scheduling, ensuring compliance with union regulations, and managing necessary correspondence.
- Provide administrative support to the DON, handling a variety of day-to-day tasks.
- Prepare and submit PBJ reports to CMS accurately and on time.
- Conduct QA monitoring and generate detailed reports to ensure compliance and quality care.
- Organize and facilitate DSD training in accordance with CDPH guidelines.
- Cross-train as an LVN Charge Nurse to provide coverage when needed.
- Complete MDS assessments efficiently to support patient care and regulatory compliance.
- Submit and track Treatment Authorization Requests (TARs), ensuring timely approvals and meticulous record-keeping.
What We're Looking For:
- Education:
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with two (2) years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Certification:
- DSD certificate preferred (training opportunity available).
- Experience:
- MDS experience preferred.
- TARS experience preferred.
