Job Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and sophisticated clinical laboratory tests—including chemistry, hematology, and immunology—following established protocols diligently.
• Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventive maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with sample collection and preparation for testing as required.
• Thoroughly document all processes, mentor new staff or interns, and help maintain high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe workspace while adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health field, plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Required

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), to be obtained within one year of hiring.
• Maintain current certification for the duration of your employment.
