Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including comprehensive physical examinations and in-depth medical history reviews
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging studies and lab results
• Work in tandem with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative support by setting up surgical environments, ensuring proper patient positioning, and passing instruments during operations
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wounds, supporting discharge plans, and educating patients

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferably completed clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
