MLR is seeking a certified Mammography Technologist for a leading healthcare facility near Lake Isabella, California!
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Mammograms: Operate mammography equipment to capture clear breast images while ensuring proper patient positioning.
• Patient Care & Education: Prepare and guide patients through the mammogram process, ensuring comfort and understanding.
• Image Review: Check image quality before submitting to radiologists for evaluation.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records and update EMR systems.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure mammography equipment functions properly, reporting issues as needed.

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of an AMA accredited program leading to registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• State of California and ARRT registration and certification.
• BLS certification required and maintained thereafter.
• Acute care hospital radiologic technologist experience required.
