• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, addressing any malfunctions quickly
• Keep accurate records of procedures and maintain patient information in the electronic medical system

Education Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or similar
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
